The 2025 edition of Endless Summer, the world’s biggest long drive event, wrapped up this past weekend with record-breaking crowds, unforgettable moments, and explosive drives at Trillium Wood Golf Club. Nearly 1,500 fans from across Canada and the U.S. packed the venue over two days, solidifying Endless Summer as a must-attend experience and a major stop on the long drive calendar.

The event kicked off Friday night with the first-ever Military Hitters Showdown, held in partnership with 8 Wing/CFB Trenton. Fans were treated to a dramatic Hercules flypast, a thrilling Skyhawks parachute demonstration, and the main event: Team Canada vs. Team USA. In an electric finale, Brandon Flynn of the U.S.—a former U.S. Air Force meteorologist known for his explosive swing—defeated Quinte’s own Tyler Reed, a proud Master Bombardier from Ottawa who represented the region with strength and pride.
We were also proud to welcome Ontario’s Minister of Sport, Neil Lumsden, to Friday’s festivities. His presence underscored the growing recognition of Endless Summer as a premier event for sport and tourism in the province.

Saturday’s action delivered even more drama as the men’s and women’s finals took place under the lights, with packed stands roaring after every monster drive.
In the women’s division, Canadian Kelly Rudney launched a 347-yard bomb to defeat crowd-favourite Cassandra Meyer and capture her first Endless Summer title.
In the men’s final, Jack Smith of Shreveport, Louisiana stunned the field with a 421-yard rocket to defeat 2024 champion Scottie Pearman and take home the Endless Summer crown.

“This was easily our biggest and best year yet,” said Jodie Jenkins, Tournament Director. “From the military showcase to the nighttime finals under the lights, it was world-class entertainment and competition. The energy from the fans was unreal, and we’re already getting ready for something truly special in 2026—our fifth anniversary!”

Steve McCurdy, President of Trillium Wood Golf Club, added: “Hosting Endless Summer is something we look forward to every year. The atmosphere is electric, and we’re proud to partner with such a dynamic event that brings energy, tourism, and excitement to our course and the entire Quinte region.”

In addition to showcasing elite long drive talent, Endless Summer was proud to support two important community organizations: the United Way of Hastings & Prince Edward and the Trenton Military Family Resource Centre, further strengthening the event’s commitment to giving back.

With four incredible years behind it and the fifth anniversary set for 2026, Endless Summer is showing no signs of slowing down—and the long drive world is taking notice.
