PVL's newest Gold Series protein blends five protein sources with 3 g of LEUVATE aminos and a DE111 probiotic. We read the label so you know what 27 g + 3 g really means.
PVL has a new flagship protein on its Canadian site. ISOGOLD MPS 5, which appeared on ca.pvl.com in late October 2026, adds a new member to the brand's Gold Series. Instead of a single whey isolate, it blends five protein sources and adds an amino acid ingredient PVL calls LEUVATE. Here's what the label and the brand's product page actually say, and what to look at before you buy.
Five Proteins, One Scoop
PVL describes ISOGOLD MPS 5 as a "Max Performance" protein in its Gold Series. According to the product page, each scoop provides 27 g of protein from five sources plus 3 g of LEUVATE, which the brand presents together as "30 g protein + aminos."
The five protein sources listed are:
- Whey protein hydrolysate
- Whey protein isolate
- Fermented protein
- Milk protein isolate
- Milk casein protein isolate
Blending fast-digesting proteins (hydrolysate and isolate) with slower ones (casein) is a common approach for products marketed for use any time of day, not just right after training.
Where LEUVATE Comes In
PVL says LEUVATE supplies 3 g of essential amino acids (EAAs), including 1.5 g of L-leucine, plus vitamin D3. The brand positions it as support for muscle protein synthesis. Supplement news site Stack3d notes that PVL counts LEUVATE separately from the intact protein, which is why the label shows 27 g of protein plus 3 g of aminos rather than claiming 30 g of protein.
That separation is worth noticing. When you compare protein powders, compare the intact protein figure (27 g here) against other products' protein per scoop, then treat added aminos as a bonus.
A Probiotic and a Testing Claim
The product page lists DE111 probiotic at 1 billion CFU per scoop, described as shelf-stable and intended to help support digestive health. PVL also describes the product as Informed Choice tested. If you compete in tested sport, look up the specific product and batch in the certifier's own database before relying on that claim.

Before It Goes in Your Cart
- Read the panel on your tub. Calories and macros can vary slightly by flavour.
- Compare protein to protein. Use the 27 g intact-protein figure when comparing with other powders.
- Check allergens. Every listed source is dairy-based except the fermented protein, so this isn't for anyone avoiding milk.
- Verify testing claims yourself if you're a tested athlete.
Where It Fits in the PVL Lineup
ISOGOLD MPS 5 follows PVL's ISO CLEAAR clear protein, which also uses LEUVATE, earlier in 2026. For more on how creatine fits into a training plan, see why creatine isn't just for the boys, and if you're building your own Hot & Fit year, find out how to enter the 18th Annual Hot & Fit 100.
